20170116 Gospel Mk 2:18-22

The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were accustomed to fast. People came to Jesus and objected, "Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?" Jesus answered them, "Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast. But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast on that day. No one sews a piece of unshrunken cloth on an old cloak. If he does, its fullness pulls away, the new from the old, and the tear gets worse. Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the skins are ruined. Rather, new wine is poured into fresh wineskins."

Pamalandong:

Naanad na magpuasa an mga disciple ni John sanan nan mga Pharisee ugsa na nangutana an mga tawo kon uno man na dili man mopuasa an mga disciple ni Jesus kaparehas nan mga disciple ni John sanan nan mga Pharisee?

Duha an mga imahe na taggamit ni Jesus sa pagtubag sa pangutana: 1) an bangkete sa kasal sanan 2) an bag’o na alak sa wine skins.

An mga amigo nan bridegroom dili pa magpuasa kay kaibanan pa man nila an higaya na bridegroom sa ila mga kalihokan pero moabot ra an panahon na mag-fasting ra sila – kon mawaya na dila sija.

Sa imahe nan bag’o na wine sa wine skins, mobulwak hangtud na magisi na an wine skin kon bag’o pa ma-ferment an vino na isuyod kay makusog pa man ini mobukal – close minded an mga may edad na, rason na dili na nila gusto makakat’on pa nan bag’o na mga butang.
