20170921 Gospel Mt 9:9-13

As Jesus passed by, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the customs post. He said to him, "Follow me." And he got up and followed him. While he was at table in his house, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat with Jesus and his disciples. The Pharisees saw this and said to his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?" He heard this and said, "Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do. Go and learn the meaning of the words, I desire mercy, not sacrifice. I did not come to call the righteous but sinners."

Reflection:

Unabes, nosunod dajon si Matthew, isa ka tax collector, kan Jesus nan tag-imbitahan ini ni Lord na moiban Dija.

Kon buot huna-hunaon, si Matthew na tax collector, na nan jadto na panahona, tag-tuohan na korap kay lagi naghawid man sija nan koleksiyon sa buhis, waya man gajud sija magpanuko na mosunod kan Jesus.

Amo seguro kay sa pagtan-aw ni Matthew, amo na ini an oportunidad na makabawi na sija san Lord sa ija pagka-makasasaya.

An pag-panilbihan kan God waya’y pili, santo man ‘kaw o makasasaya kay kita tanan taghatagan ni Lord na luna na maka-timbang kon tag-kinahanglan ba Nija an ato serbisyo para sa Ija kahimayaan.

Andam ba kita na manilbihan kan Lord bisan sa persepsiyon nato, mga makakasasaya kita batok Dija, na dili kita angajan mag-silbe Dija?
