mga pagbasa kuman, biyernes

Naglisod ako pagtugkad nan ato pagbasa kuman kay bagan halayum man karadjaw kay adja man hinoon dadjega ni Hesus sa Idja estorya an maldito na saligando nan lupa nan maestro.

An punto dinhi sa ako tan-aw na adeser masipa an saligando nan idja maestro, nakig-negosyar anay sidja sa mga naka-utang sa idja maestro, pero taghimo nidja na may diskuwento an idja panukot ugsa na nalipay an mga may-utang kay sa tan-aw nila, buotan man badja an maestro kay tagpa-diskuwentuhan man sila sa ila mga utang.

Waya lamang sila mahibayo na hinimo-himo ra badja nan saligando an panukot, na wayay pagtugot an idja aksiyon gikan sa idja amo.

Ugsa tagdadjeg an saligando kay nahimo man nidja an pagpabalhin nan impresyon nan mga may utang dila gikan sa mayaot na impresyon na adja na hinoon ka maradjaw an maestro para dila.

Ambadja an pagdadjeg nan maestro sa saligando nidja kay impuhalan man sidja nan idja ka mangginhatagon sanan idja pagka-mapasayloon.

readings for today, friday

I have a hard time comprehending our gospel today because the implication in the parable changes the value of appreciation when the shrewd steward is commended for his shrewd action.

The point here is that before the master kicked-out the steward, he was able to negotiate with their debtors and have them pay in discounted amounts thus the debtors expressed their gratitude to the master because, after all, the master has demonstrated his generousity to them through the discounts accorded them.

But the debtors are not aware that it was only a desicion made by the shrewd steward and not sanctioned by his master.

The steward was praised because he was able to change the impression of the debtors from the master's being a bad lender to being a good and generous landowner.

The master praised his steward because he was outdone in his generousity and mercy.

But it did not necessarily mean that the focus of the appreciation was the steward's shrewdness but his ways of evading from shame on the consequence of being kicked-out from his work.

The above situation may be likened to our preparation for the future, the life that will come after His judgement on us all.

Father God, mold and prepare us for the life that you have in store for us, Amen.
